Donten & Lacroix Films is polish a production company founded by Maria Blicharska and Monika Sajko-Gradowska in 2006 in Warsaw with the aim to produce films of high artistic and cultural value for international audiences. The company has collaborated with major European companies as well US documentary producers from S.Spielberg Shoah Foundation. Our last two feature films premiered in Cannes: FROST by S.Bartas (Director's Fortnight 2017), RAGING ROSE by J.Kowalsk (ACID 2015).
Producer specializing in European co-productions, founder of Blick Productions in Paris in 2015 (www.blickproductions.fr) and Donten & Lacroix Films in Warsaw in 2006 (www.dontenlacroix.eu). Maria has two Master’s degrees in Cultural Management, and Literature. She also gradueted from the European School of Business in Strasbourg. She did post-graduated studies at three National film schools, La Fémis, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and WRiTV in Poland. She started working in the film industry in 2002 as line producer for independent European companies, and for ARTE, Canal + Poland, TVP, TVN as well as for American directors and producers. She has participated in more than 35 projects (feature films, documentaries and animations) awarded at international film festivals.
Her last two coproductions premiered in Cannes : Frost by Sharunas Bartas (Director's Fortnight 2017) and Raging Rose by Julia Kowalski (ACID 2015) and have been acclaimed by international critics at films festivals. Member of Eurodoc, Eave, ACE Producers, EFA, Producer on the Move.
