Synopsis: Paweł is the son of a
‘Solidarity’ activist in Silesia. His wife is Ewa the daughter of a miner who
had been killed during mine strike riots under communism. One day a photo of
Paweł’s father is published in a paper. He is accused of having collaborated
with the communist secret police in the 1980s (with “The Mole” as his code
name), and of having informed on his collegues during the strike.
